C# .NET Software Developer - Desktop Apps
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000
We are partnered to help a tech manufacturing company that's experiencing amazing growth to hire a Winforms / Desktop .NET software developer who will be the team lead for the development team.
This is a brand new role, as the business seeks to grow to 35+ peope in the next few years.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a desktop / Winforms C# Developer to join the business, who is going to be a key hire in the growth of the business. You will take ownership of the existing code base and work with the team of developers to ensure that the company's suit of products is the most ground-breaking, innovative, user friendly and intuitive solution available.
More importantly, we are looking for someone that wants to take the reigns of the team leading of 3 developers in the team and help work closely with the Managing Director to help steer the technical and innovation of the product suite.
This role involves the development, support, delivery, and improvement of the existing software, with various brand-new features and new projects also required. More importantly for your career development, you will transition in to a team leader position and have the attractive bonus of being hands on.
Essential Skills:
Your First 6 Months:
Month #1 : Get to grips with the codebase and work to understand the systems.
Month #2 - #3: Work with the MD and team to start managing the development and refactoring of code whilst understanding the way the technology and products integrate to solve the needs of the customer.
Month #3 - 6 : Enter the role of team lead, undertaking management tasks of the 3 developers.
Month #6+ : Start to work with the MD to gather requirements from customers and manage expectations on development lead times.
