Role: Social Media Executive

Location: Alcester, Warwickshire - due to the remote nature of the office, you will need to drive/cycle.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

CX Squared have the honour of partnering with one of the most loved and fully sustainable breweries in the West Midlands and known globally. We're looking for someone who's passionate about social media to create content that'll engage, surprise & bring their events and products to life via different social platforms for their customers!

From a proven marketing agency or Internal advertising background, you will get stuck in owning their social media presence through compelling content & creative copywriting to grow their audience and social channels.

You will manage three different brands across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube and will be the driving force of the company's digital strategy.

The office is based in the scenic village of Great Alne, so is commutable from Redditch, South Birmingham, Alcester, Stratford, Bidford-on-Avon, Evesham, Warwick, Leamington Spa and the surrounding Warwickshire and Worcestershire towns.

You will need to be able to drive due to the remote nature of the office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a communications and social media strategy setting goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
  • Set goals to increase brand awareness and social engagement
  • Work with the ecommerce manager to he;p with lead generation and traffic driving campaigns
  • Manage all communication and social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Google+ YouTube and LinkedIn including planning content and delivery using Sprout Social to manage multiple social channels including manging paid social media campaigns
  • Develop and manage campaigns that promote the brand and sub-brands
  • Attend events and bring them to life using social
  • Create internal and external communications distribute and report on.
  • Write engaging blog posts and articles to support SEO and search presence
  • Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively
  • Coordinate and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social and GoogleAds
  • Coordinate junior staff such as an apprentice
  • Drive the digital strategy for the business
  • Use your creative eye to take photos and create your own content to post on social
  • Liaise with the wider business to provide the necessary information as we deliver key projects and campaigns.
  • Provide the Marketing Manager with weekly and monthly updates, with performance and actions outlined

Experience

  • Demonstratable experience in communications and managing & growing social media accounts.
  • Comfortable working independently to take different brands and own the social media presence and tailor content that is right for each channel.
  • Has worked in hospitality and has an interest in beer (including non-alcoholic beverages) - highly desirable.

Qualities and Attitude

  • Must be a creative individual with fantastic interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and vary their style to suit the situation and the individual.
  • Able to influence and work collaboratively at all levels across the business.
  • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.
  • Proactive organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Product Knowledge / IT Packages

  • Social media expertise - Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn/YouTube
  • Google Analytics
  • AdWords
  • Computer literate can competently use Word, Excel, Powerpoint an software packages for example.
  • Email/CRM system knowledge
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies.

Desirable Product Knowledge / IT Packages

  • Adobe products, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or similar platforms (Canva etc)
