Technical Project Manager

Industry - Digital projects / Marketing

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

Location: Birmingham

Working: Office based - flexible working

We are looking for a technical project manager to get stuck into such a diverse mix of projects from websites, product builds to ecommerce builds. Our client are looking for someone strategic, who can manage and advise on large-scale ecommerce and membership platforms, as well as web apps and complex integrations, on the digital side.

Hold your own when it comes to digital projects, even if it's something new to you. Our skilled digital team is always there to back you up and provide assistance. Know your APIs from your UIs and your DNSs from your CMSs.

We are seeking to attract someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within an agency environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in managing ecommerce web builds from beginning to end, ensuring the client's satisfaction and delivering an enjoyable journey.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and the potential to expand into larger client accounts.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with multiple clients simultaneously and provide a high level of service.
  • Experience in leading a team of developers while collaborating with the creative team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Comfort in presenting to potential clients as part of a pitch.
  • Understanding of the process involved in creating tender documents.
  • Excellent working knowledge of WordPress, Campaign Monitor, and Google Analytics.
  • Keen attention to detail when reviewing designs and testing websites.
  • Confidence to challenge proposed solutions from the studio, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the client's brief and desired outcomes.

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Project management certifications such as Scrum or Prince2.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license for travel purposes.
