Product Manager / Product Owner
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Location - Birmingham but remote with occasional travel

What you will be doing
- Liaising between stakeholders, and using their high-level perspective of the Product to define goals, and create the roadmap for the Product in terms of functional user stories.
- Work with technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles. Including Leadership, management and collaboration with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management for the development of the product.
- Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product
lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements;
appraising new product ideas.
- Acting as an ambassador for the product and roadmap internally and
externally, and as the primary contact for queries related to the product and roadmap.
- Create and update Product Backlog and Prioritise Needs based on inputs from stakeholders
- Build up the most valuable requirements for confirmed roadmap epics ensuring the business can realise the greatest return on engineering investment.
- Conduct User Groups with Users and Stakeholders, via the Qualia Forum.

What you should have
- Strong Team leadership and Technical management skills
- Communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts and business purpose to a wide variety of stakeholders and colleagues
- Able to effectively work and communicate with as well as manage the expectations of stakeholders at all levels of the business up to c level.
- Previous experience working in product delivery scenarios where in house development teams
- Skilled in facilitation and co-ordination of cross functional teams in refinement, understanding and estimation of requirements.
- Excellent understanding of the underlying rationale for employing and Agile approach to product development and the effective implementation of specific Agile frameworks and complimentary tools / techniques.
- Sound understanding of best practice UX and UI design and Accessibility. Integration of these considerations into requirement definition, refinement, and implementation.
Technology Stack Used Internally:
- JavaScript, Python, DevOps, Cloud and whatever is needed to solve a problem.
- Slack and API Integration

- Experience working on ITSM products
- Experience in ITOps or IT Service Management
- Customer Experience
- Working knowledge of APIs, Serverless Functions and backend frameworks
- Exposure to Jira or similar project management software.
