We have partnered with a 30 year old business that is in the manufacturing, logistics and print space. As they have grown, their production line has needed technological advancements that will allow them to be efficient and therefore this role will have the opportunity for the right person will drive this internally.

We are seeking a talented Software Developer/Engineer to join our team. As a member of our dynamic development team, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Translating user specifications into efficient, clean code
• Building applications independently, including both front-end and back-end development
• Testing and deploying applications
• Enhancing and fixing existing applications
• Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes
• Integrating software components and third-party applications
• Verifying and deploying programs and systems
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software
• Gathering and evaluating user feedback
• Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance functionality
• Continually improving processes and methodologies
• Participating in relevant internal and external training opportunities
• Supporting the Company's accreditations (9001, 14001 & 27001)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience working in a test-driven development environment
• Knowledge of various coding languages and frameworks/systems (e.g., C#, SQL, Asp.net Core, AngularJS, Git)
• Proficiency with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g., Hibernate)
• Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
• Resourcefulness and strong troubleshooting aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Methodical approach with attention to detail when reviewing work and making decisions to meet required standards
• Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure, demonstrating emotional control and resilience
• Good discipline standards and a positive can-do attitude
• Willingness to work additional hours at short notice and a flexible approach to work schedules
