Role: .NET Developer

Salary: £40k - £55k

Location: Dudley, West Midlands

Hybrid based - free parking

CX Squared have partnered with a high-growth software payment provider who is looking to continue their expansion plans in 2023. They have offices across the country but their product engineering and development hub is based near Dudley.

We are helping to build out their team of developers and are looking at developers of all strengths and experiences, from Junior through to technical lead.

Culture wise - they have a collaborative and open door policy wanting their people to thrive and be able to flourish through doing and hard work, but wanting to succeed through taking ownership of projects and proactiveness.

Key responsibilities:

• The production of high quality code with expectations to refactor whilst having the opportunity to be involved with projects from concept through to delivery.
• You will develop new web applications and features at all levels of the software stack including; Web APIs, Web Services and WebForms.
• The dev team work in a CI environment, so releasing software to production is done 3 weekly.
• Pro-active learning is promoted internally, so you will take part in session planning and learning squads.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies that could improve the service for their customers
• You will also be encouraged to promote software development best practices.

Essential Skills:

• C# ASP.NET (.NET 4.5)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• jQuery / Knockout / Angular
• WebAPI / WebServices / WebForms
• Visual Studio & ReSharper / Visual Studio Code
• Any cloud experience with Azure or similar environments would be highly desirable

Whilst the company promotes hybrid working for example being able to help with the school run, they are keen to have you in the office a few times a week, so this is going to suit someone who is keen to go back to working in a hybrid office environment.
