Role: Senior Clojure Developer
Location: London - Oxford Street
Working Plans: Remote
Salary: £60000 - £90,000 + share options

We are working with a tech start-up that describes themselves as a community-driven platform that helps owner-led businesses save time and money and understand, embrace and manage the essential tech and tools they need to succeed.
Currently there are 11 staff, with high-growth plans to expand to over 40 over the next 2 years.

They are now looking for a Senior Clojure Developer to come in and work on the back end system, to create a GraphQL system using lacinia and pedestal to feed data into their web and mobile backends.

My client generally employs a Test Driven Development approach and wants to develop a 'DevOps Culture'.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience with Clojure
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Python
  • Problem solving ability with analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability and desire to learn new skills.
  • Willingness to learn and desire to create great software

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience with Github
  • Experience with Circle CI

Advantageous skills and experience:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience of test-driven development.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
