Role: Senior Automation QA Engineer
Salary: £45k - £55k
Location: Coventry

CX Squared have partnered with a high-growth software payment provider who are looking to continue their expansion plans in 2022. They have offices across the country but their product engineering and development hub is based in Coventry.
We are looking to bring in a Senior Automation QA Engineer who has strong Web API Testing experience and comfortable writing automation scripts.

Responsibilities:
- Testing software to tight deadlines in an agile software development environment.
- You will be required to test new and existing functionality covering both UI and back end features and to help ensure time critical releases are defect-free and match requirements.
- You will be responsible for driving automated testing inside the company. You will develop and maintain tests. You can propose code and software architecture changes to make the software more testable.
- You can propose and monitor quality metrics for the automation tests like downtime, response time, test coverage.
- You will be expected to analyse functional specifications to break the feature down into testable units, devise suitable testing approaches, write test cases and execute manual tests.
- You will develop automation of regression test suites using Selenium with SpecFlow feature files.
Essential skills:
· Proven ability to develop acceptance criteria and test conditions from requirements and technical specifications
- Excellent ability to identify and present testing solutions
- Excellent ability to identify test automation opportunities and present testing solutions to improve testing team performance
- Advanced experience in test automation projects and knowledge of methodologies, frameworks and tools such as Selenium
- Ability to create automation-testing framework
- Able to script / program and knowledge of good programming practices e.g. C#, Java.
- Experience of coaching and mentoring other team members
- Experience of continuous integration e.g. TeamCity or similar.
- Experience of cross browser test automation
- Knowledge of, or ability and desire to learn SQL
- Agile/scrum experience
