Role: Paid Social Media Executive - career plan to move to Lead
Location: Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham
Salary: £27k - £35k (potential flex)
CX Squared are helping a well known and growing digital and marketing agency grow out their Paid Social and digital marketing offering.
Over the last few years, this family focused and culture first digital agency have sought to want to do things differently to their other competition. The biggest change has been the appointment of a new MD who is keen to change up their service offerings but more importantly to enhance and evolve their culture and values.
They are now on the search for a new Paid Social and Digital Marketing executive to help optimize and create social media campaigns across the core social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. There will also be an opportunity to help learn and work on the ever-growing TikTok platform.
Your Responsibilities:
- Hands-on organic and paid social media experience.
- A knowledge of Facebook Business and Ads Manager, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Enthusiasm to learn/use TikTok.
- Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters and basic code implementation.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and working with different project teams simultaneously.
- Commercially focused, working closely with both Client Partner and New Business teams.
- Ability to prioritise social optimisation actions based on expected impact.
- Client account management.
- The willingness to adopt a 'test and learn' approach to all paid social activities.
- Innovative enough to come up with creative ways to enhance campaign performance
Some of the skills we are looking to talk to people with experience of:
- A portfolio demonstrating any direct experience of winning and then managing organic and paid social media campaigns across various social media platforms; conducting paid social audits and creating, and presenting, relevant social media strategies both internally and externally.
- Experience pitching and presenting to clients and client relationship management.
- A strong working knowledge of industry standard paid social media techniques and requirements. ● Held a position consistently across a variety of projects, comfortably interfacing with clients and leading discussions on recommended direction.
You might have: ● Brand, content writing and offline experience
- Some experience with user research.
- Experience in paid search (Google, Display Advertising).
