Location: Birmingham
Working Logistics: Hybrid - travel for meetings occasionally
Salary: £30k - £35k
CX Squared are partnered with a renewable energy and smart solutions company based in Birmingham but with a customer base that is global.
They are now looking to build a digital marketing team starting with someone who will focus on social media planning and scheduling, email marketing and put in the foundations of SEO by working with the hosting company on the website.
You will be working alongside the Directors and leadership team to change the status quo on people's attitudes to social media by gaining buy in to get the wider team to post on social alongside the company's marketing strategy.
Role and Responsibilities include:
- Being heavily involved in the planning, creation, monitoring and reporting of all digital marketing activities that the company are involved in.
- Supporting the wider business plans for SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Automation
- Deliver the digital marketing strategy with plans on how this will be implemented to ensure the business has an optimized, growing online presence. The focus being on website lead generation as well as social media inbound leads
- Identifying new avenues for business growth is essential.
- Work with the external website hosting company to ensure best practices are followed and that content and traffic deliverables are achieved, whilst also to develop effective websites that are focused on customer experience and lead generation.
- Identify possible areas for digital growth via organic, PPC & paid social media marketing
- Looking at a variety of data sources and daily results to assist in campaign planning & reporting
- Continually looking at data to improve performance and other areas around the digital marketing strategy
- Help to build an email marketing strategy that will help promote the case studies and work of the business.
If you have worked in the energy and smart energy market, then this would be advantageous but is not essential with an interest to develop your personal knowledge in this space being important.

Ecommerce Manager
Location: Trafford Park, M17
Salary: £30k - £40k
We are pleased to announce CX Squared as the exclusive talent partners to a textiles and manufacturing business who have been around for nearly 175 years whilst maintaining a family culture, driven by the empowerment given to their people.
Based in Trafford Park, they are now looking to bring in a multi-skilled and enthusiastic ecommerce manager who can shape and continue to drive their online presence.
Currently the paid campaigns, email marketing and A/B testing is outsourced to a local agency and they have big plans to bring this in-house starting with this role and future scaling plans to expand the ecommerce and paid campaigns department, and you will behind this!
Responsibilities include:
- Create, coordinate, and deliver on quarterly marketing deliverables that contribute to integrated marketing projects.
- This includes some SEO & PPC project, however mainly managing agency that performs this work and email marketing plans/strategy.
- To manage, coordinate and deliver on multiple integrated projects within the marketing team
- To create, follow and oversee marketing project plans including scheduling in design resource
- Organise and chair weekly marketing meetings to keep the team on task, accountable and all marketing projects moving through the department
- Regularly update website content as and when required
- Create clear and concise briefs for in-house and external designers to create marketing tools
- Proof-read and sign off marketing content according to brand guidelines * Liaise with internal and external marketing teams and stakeholders
- Efficient with project management tools, bringing more best practice processes into the department for improvement and adoption.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of managing ecommerce sites - e.g. Magento
- Experience of driving ecommerce teams and growing them
- Hands on experience of PPC, SEO, email marketing and conversion optimization
- Marketing online consumer products (B2C)
- Email marketing, segmentation and KPI analysis
- Experience of driving a strategy and vision
- Track record of driving sales through ecommerce plans.
You shall be based in travelling distance of Trafford Park, as whilst there is some remote work, travelling to the office will be a regular thing.
